Samantha Lee, une jeune maman Malaisienne, à eu l'idée de préparer les repas pour sa fille, sous forme de dessin racontant une histoire. Partant d'aucune formation culinaire, elle a mis en scène les aliments de chaque assiette pour que sa fille prenne plaisir à découvrir les aliments et les gouts. L'expérience a rapidement été un franc succès, car la fille de Samantha était toujours plus impatiente de découvrir ses repas du soir.
